PLAYER TRACKING MANAGER – VIDEO GAMING OPERATIONS

KEY GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Under the direction of the Vice President- Business Development, the Player Tracking Manager- Video Gaming Operations is responsible for the various administrative functions of the department. Oversees all aspects of the Player Tracking area and Lucky Treasures Gift Shop, along with input of statistical data based upon patron visits.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise the staff of the Player Tracking area and Gift Shop, which includes overseeing interviewing, hiring, scheduling, and any disciplinary action.
- Input statistical data regarding patron visits and habits for review by department personnel in the planning of various campaigns.
- Input statistical data regarding performance by staff for review by the department head.
- Assist sales and event staff with bus groups, facility events, and other offsite Marketing events.
- Perform various administrative functions of the department.
- Assist in customer training programs as needed.
- Perform face-to-face customer service on the gaming floor to increase patron loyalty and handle any customer situations.
- Review and complete timecards for Player Tracking and Gift Shop staff for payroll using the corporation’s online time-tracking system on a bi-weekly basis.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND TRAINING
A personable and outgoing personality. Ability to effectively communicate and interact with the public, patrons, and employees. Strong supervisory and leadership skills and the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, various computer applications, and other related software.
ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or GED, plus three (3) years of experience in the customer relations field.
Must be approved for and maintain a valid Video Lottery Gaming Key Employee license issued by the New York State Gaming Commission.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This is a moderately sedentary role; however, some physical tasks are required. This would require the ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds at a time in order to move inventory and set up/tear down marketing events, and bend or stand as necessary. The person in this position must be able to talk and hear in order to ensure proper communication.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be available to work nights, weekends, and on holidays.
